BERNO x Topiku
The founder Monty Hasan, was inspired to create Topiku when he was given the opportunity to visit local villages and meet with artisans who crafted bags. As a developing nation, Indonesia faces many challenges such as inadequate waste management services which allows the country to become the world’s second largest ocean polluter.
BERNO x Feri
Feri considers his style to be of a random nature, taking each of ideas down an unknown path and seeing where it will lead him. The final results are always quirky, surprisingly unexpected, and funny. Kinda like dad in the end.
In collaboration with us Feri created some cartoonish prints based on the well-known story behind. The one about us kids and the other about our dads the heroes.
BERNO x LYD
You can also find us in the concept store of LYD Studio in the center of Eindhoven. LYD focuses on clothing brands, lifestyle and music. A unique mix that perfectly blends with our, and dad's, way of thinking.
We work closely with our suppliers to source only the best raw materials, grown or produced in ways that do not harm people, animals or the environment. We exclusively use 100% GOTS certified organic cotton from India, recycled polyester from China and other sustainable materials.
'The Story Behind'
‘This house is no motel, you know?’ he would grumble from the couch when you and your friends had plundered the liquor cabinet and destroyed half of the furniture for the second time that month. All you were doing was celebrating life; having a good time. It didn’t even really cross your mind that you had to take into account what others might think of it. Essentially, you were just a spoiled brat. Egoistic and focused on living the life you wanted. When looking at old photo albums, you would always choose your own to investigate over and over again. Looking at your dad’s old photo albums? No. Only to laugh at maybe. After all, he was old and boring and merely focused on making sure you knew that he was making the rules in the house.
